The January meeting of the
Inland Empire Arabian Horse Club was called to
order at 5:05 pm on January 16, 2010. There were 8
members in attendance, and two youth members.
The treasurer’s report was
given by Treasurer Heidi Hedlund.
Old business: An issue with
an outstanding check from our May show has finally
been resolved, and the club has been paid in
full.
New business:
Show manager Greta Dority
gave a horse show report. Both judges and the show
secretary have been secured. We are still in need
of a steward. Greta is getting ideas for prizes,
as she will be traveling to a gift large gift show
in soon. She will keep us updated. Talk of vendor
bucks for prizes was discussed, as was vendor
bucks toward the show photographer.
Revising the horse show
schedule, from two 2 day schedules to 1 3-day
schedule. This took up the remaining time at the
meeting, and a new schedule is almost ready to be
turned in for approval. Small changes will be made
by Kari, and then forwarded to the horse show
committee for approval.
The meeting was adjourned at
approximately 8:00 PM.
