Join us in congratulating Marin McKee, your 2023 Youth of the Year!

This year, we are thrilled to spotlight an exceptional candidate whose passion for the Arabian horse breed, dedication to community service, and commitment to fostering unity within the industry have truly set her apart. It is with great honor that we introduce the outstanding youth from Region 5, Marin McKee. Marin, a student at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, is pursuing her passion within the Equine Program and shining as a valuable member of the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team. Her compassion, humility, and unwavering motivation serve as the foundation of her approach to life. Beyond her academic pursuits, Marin has actively contributed to her high school volleyball team, lending a helping hand to the middle school team during their season. Her involvement in various community service projects and dedication to tutoring at her high school highlights her commitment to making a positive impact. Notably, Marin has been a vital part of the Arabian Horse Youth Association, where she served two years as the AHYA Vice President. In Region 5, she introduced the Are U Okay? Program by creating kindness boards at shows and played a crucial role in organizing and running youth activities. Her support in ensuring a smooth transition for the new Director showcases her leadership and dedication to the Arabian horse community. For her outstanding attributes, passion for excellence, and unwavering support of the Arabian horse, Marin McKee is our esteemed Youth of the Year. We are delighted to present her with the Youth of the Year perpetual trophy, along with a $5000 scholarship sponsored by the Arabian Horse Foundation.
